"Terrible idea", "Please no" - WWE fans unhappy as Nick Khan discusses potential major change on SmackDown

Nick Khan and SmackDown
SmackDown could undergo a major change

WWE fans are unhappy with the idea of a three-hour episode of SmackDown following recent comments from CEO Nick Khan.

Although SmackDown has been treated as RAW's understudy for several years, the brand has been on a roll lately. A large part of the blue brand's success could be attributed to Roman Reigns and the entire storyline involving The Bloodline, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens.

The recent success of the blue brand has WWE contemplating making a major change to the show. Nick Khan recently discussed the possibility that the blue brand could be a three-hour show in the future.

Almost 11 years ago, in July 2012, RAW underwent the same fate as it changed from a two-hour format to a three-hour format. However, SmackDown remained a two-hour show, but it looks like that might change soon.

However, it looks like fans are unhappy with the idea of an additional hour of SmackDown. Many fans took to Twitter to voice their concerns over the possibility of the change.

Check out some of the reactions below:

Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa will be on the KO Show this week on SmackDown

Despite winning the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 39, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's feud with The Bloodline seems far from over. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has since grown frustrated with The Usos' failure to solve the Owens and Zayn problem and bring the tag team titles back to the stable.

Hence, The Tribal Chief took matters into his own hands when it was announced that he and Sikoa will face Owens and Zayn at WWE Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.

Just a day before their highly anticipated clash at Night of Champions, Owens will host a special edition of the KO Show with special guests Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa this week on SmackDown.

This will give all involved a chance to get everything off their chest before they clash at Night of Champions. However, given how personal this storyline has gotten, things might get out of hand this week with all four men in the ring.

It remains to be seen what role The Usos will play this week on the blue brand as well as at Night of Champions. They have been continuously lambasted by Reigns and will look to be back in the good graces of The Tribal Chief.
