The Rock breaks character for young WWE fan at WrestleMania weekend

The Rock has shined as The Final Boss in WWE since embracing his dark side for the first time in decades. After joining TKO's Board of Directors, he blurred the line between real life and kayfabe, abusing his backstage power on TV as part of the Cody Rhodes-Bloodline saga. The Hollywood megastar's interaction with a young fan during WrestleMania XL weekend has now gone viral on social media.

After returning to WWE this year, The Rock played his heel character to perfection, taunting fans on RAW and SmackDown. He also used his authority to unleash his wrath on his rivals, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, heading into WrestleMania XL. Despite being a menacing villain on television, The People's Champion still has a soft spot for his fans

During an appearance at WWE World during WrestleMania weekend, a young fan told The Final Boss that he bought tickets to 'Mania just to see him beat Cody Rhodes. The statement pleased Rocky and he invited his supporter to join him on stage. He ultimately broke character and embraced the young boy before the latter explained how much he meant to him.

The People's Champion later fulfilled his fan's request as he asked his brother to join them on stage for a picture. Taking to Twitter, Rocky praised the young boy for having a strong bond with his sibling.

Triple H teases potential plans for The Rock in WWE

The Rock has not finished his latest run in WWE and will seemingly not drop his Final Boss character after causing mayhem at WrestleMania XL. The Hollywood megastar's last appearance on TV came on Monday Night RAW after 'Mania.

On RAW, Rocky interrupted the newly crowned Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, congratulating the latter on his victory against Roman Reigns. He later handed The American Nightmare a mystery object that hasn't been revealed to the audience yet.

It seems that The People's Champion is now going to take some time off to resume his filming duties in Hollywood. Triple H recently provided an update on Rocky's future with the company. In a chat with Sports Business Journal, The Game said the WWE Universe can expect his long-time rival to return once again in the near future.

"So his coming in, just across the board, if you would've told me at the beginning of the conversation that we’re going to get The Final Boss heel version of The Rock, I would have said, 'You’re crazy,’ but that’s his level of commitment. He goes off, makes a few movies now but as he said a week ago, he’ll be back and it’ll be a h*ll of a ride when he comes back," Triple H said.

The Final Boss has teased going after The American Nightmare for revenge after he returns from Hollywood. Will they lock horns in a one-on-one match? Only time will tell.
