Top WWE RAW star denies attacking Jade Cargill

A WWE Superstar from Monday Night RAW has claimed that she doesn't have anything to do with the attack on Jade Cargill last week on SmackDown. IYO SKY was on the show but denied any involvement in the brutal assault.

This past Friday on SmackDown, Cargill was attacked in the parking lot and was slammed on a car windshield. Bianca Belair had to leave her Triple Threat match against Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport to tend to her tag team partner.

WWE later confirmed that Cargill suffered multiple injuries to her back, kidney, right knee, and face. She's expected to be out for the foreseeable future. However, her real-life injury is to her neck, as reported by Sportskeeda Wrestling senior editor Bill Apter.

In an interview with Neitro V, IYO SKY was asked whether she knew who attacked Big Money Jade. The Genius of the Sky was on SmackDown last Friday but denied attacking Cargill. They were supposed to team up at Survivor Series in the Women's WarGames match.

"Me? Me?! Me?! Could it be me? Well, that day I was on SmackDown, but I didn't do that at all," SKY said.

With Jade Cargill out for Survivor Series: WarGames, Bayley was named as her replacement. The Role Model helped Bianca Belair win the advantage for their team on RAW.

What will happen to the WWE Women's Tag Team Title with Jade Cargill out?

One of the biggest questions after Jade Cargill's injury was the future of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Bianca Belair doesn't have a partner, as the "curse" of the women's tag team gold has seemingly struck again.

On the latest episode of Backstage Pass' WrestleVotes Radio, it was suggested that Belair would be stripped of the championship. Cargill is the third superstar to suffer an injury while holding the title.

"Again, working on nailing down the details, but I'm hearing they're gonna have to strip Bianca. …Yeah, these belts are cursed. I mean, this happens time and time again," WrestleVotes said.

Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder injury last year, while Sonya Deville injured her knee a few weeks into her reign with Chelsea Green. Aliyah suffered an injury when she won the title and subsequently lost it two weeks later.

Dakota Kai suffered a knee injury challenging for the title, while Asuka was dealing with a knee injury as well when The Kabuki Warriors lost the gold to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at Backlash France.
