Triple H shared a heartwarming moment with his daughters before appearing at WWE SummerSlam. Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash witnessed the backstage interaction when he went to the premium live event in Cleveland earlier this month.
Nash was one of several legends invited by the company to watch SummerSlam live. They were shown during the broadcast in their own "Legends Suite," which was a first for WWE.
On the most recent episode of the Kliq This podcast, Big Daddy Cool explained how Triple H was about to start SummerSlam when his daughters shared a heartwarming moment with him.
"Paul [Levesque] had to open the show and he's talking to us. He looks down. He goes and like there's somebody standing there with a headset on. He goes, 'I got to start the show' and he's got makeup on his f***ing. (...) So he's got to change his shirt and he said, 'I gotta go.' And as he's going, the kids are going the opposite way with me to the door, and with Pac [Sean Waltman] and the girls turn around and go, 'We love you, daddy. We're so proud of you.' And he says, 'Thanks,'" Nash said. [47:54 - 48:28]
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have three daughters together named Aurora Rose, Murphy Claire, and Vaughn Evelyn. Kevin Nash confirmed that Murphy and Vaughn were backstage, while it's unknown if Aurora was there as well.
Will Triple H allow his daughters to wrestle?
Triple H's wife, Stephanie McMahon, confirmed a few years ago that their eldest daughter Aurora was getting some basic training on how to be a pro wrestler. Fast forward to 2024, and The Game revealed that Aurora was focusing on college, but he wouldn't oppose any of his daughters if they wanted to be a WWE Superstar.
"[Aurora] is focused right now on going off to college and doing her thing there, so you never know. If any of my kids decided to make an attempt to get in WWE, which is a lot of hard work, I would be a 100% behind them, but that's up to them and where they want to go with their lives. I just support them with whatever they do," Triple H said in an interview with the Daily Mail last month.
If any of Stephanie McMahon's daughters enter WWE, they will be the fifth-generation McMahons to join the business. Jess, Vince Sr., and Vince Jr. were all wrestling promoters, with Stephanie holding a lot of positions during her tenure with the company from 1998 to 2023.
