Alexa Bliss has been away from WWE programming for nearly two years. Amid her hiatus, the former RAW Women's Champion posted a heartwarming update on social media that caught the attention of many in the wrestling world, including Trish Stratus and Nia Jax.
Little Miss Bliss was last seen in action at the 2023 Royal Rumble, where she lost to Bianca Belair. She was then written off television programming, and shortly after, she announced that she was expecting her first child. Alexa gave birth to her daughter Hendrix last fall. She started training a few months ago and could soon return to the squared circle.
The little one recently celebrated her first birthday. Alexa Bliss marked the occasion with an emotional and heartwarming Instagram post that received comments and likes from many notable names in the pro wrestling fraternity.
Trish Stratus, Nia Jax, Katana Chance, Adam Pearce, and Natalya are a few among many who showed love for Hendrix in the comment section. Former WWE Superstars Casie Lee and Jessica McKay also wished Hendrix a very happy first birthday.
Latest update on Alexa Bliss' return to WWE
Little Miss Bliss has been a part of the Stamford-based promotion for over a decade. While she had a slow start to her career, the 33-year-old became a prominent part of the company's women's division upon moving to the main roster and is already a Triple Crown Champion.
Alexa looked set to be involved in a storyline with Uncle Howdy and the late Bray Wyatt before her hiatus. However, the plans couldn't come to fruition due to a multitude of reasons. With The Wyatt Sicks now a part of WWE programming, many expect the former RAW Women's Champion to become a part of the picture.
However, fans may have to wait a while for that to happen, as it was recently reported that Alexa Bliss is likely to return to action somewhere around WrestleMania 41.
Little Miss Bliss also dealt with multiple health issues during her time away. However, she recently made it clear that she is now well and raring to go.
