Uncle Howdy and The Wyatt Sicks have set their sights on the SmackDown tag team division following their return to weekly programming on the May 23, 2025, edition of the blue brand's show. Bo Dallas, without his Howdy mask, delivered a chilling warning to multiple WWE stars on last night's SmackDown.
Two weeks ago on SmackDown, the Street Profits defended the WWE Tag Team Championship against Fraxiom. Montez Ford was about to get the win for his team when the lights went out and The Wyatt Sicks appeared. The stable attacked both teams, as well as #DIY and The Motor City Machine Guns, who were at ringside.
Last week, the tag team division met the same fate at the hands of Uncle Howdy and Co. Last night, the four teams decided on a truce to combat The Wyatt Sicks after watching Bo Dallas, who wasn't wearing the Uncle Howdy mask, send a message via a vignette.
"We return not for nostalgia, not for closure, but to rip open the wound of apathy and take what we are owed. Your brotherhood will be tested. The time for repentance has passed. Accept your condemnation. We will not be forgotten," Dallas said.
Uncle Howdy is a former tag team champion in WWE
While Bo Dallas has completely changed his character since being revealed as Uncle Howdy, his best moment on the main roster was winning the RAW Tag Team Championship with Curtis Axel in July 2018.
Many were hoping for Dallas to team up with his real-life brother, Bray Wyatt, upon their respective returns to WWE in 2022. It seemed like they were headed that way, but Wyatt had an undisclosed illness. He tragically passed away at the age of 36 on August 24, 2023.
Upon their return to weekly programming on May 23, The Wyatt Sicks members paid tribute to Bray Wyatt on his 38th birthday. Instead of the trademark lamp, Howdy blew out a candle that was on top of a birthday cake.
