WWE News: Wade Barrett possibly returning to WWE

Wade Barrett’s last appearance in the WWE was during the post-Wrestlemania 32 RAW on April 4

According to ringsidenews.com, WWE has reached out to Wade Barrett about a potential return to the company. Barrett had left the company in May 2016 after being kicked out of the “League Of Nations” faction. Barrett was apparently upset with his position in the company and was not happy with how things were going which lead to his exit.

After his exit from the WWE, Barrett planned to take a break from the wrestling industry.

Wade Barrett was brought in the WWE with great expectations and got a solid start in his WWE Career starting off as the leader of Nexus, but it never got flying after that with failure after failure halting his momentum.

Despite having some success with the “Bad News” gimmick, WWE just couldn’t seem to use it in his favour. Here is a video of the debut of ”The Nexus” under Wade’s leadership which was one of the most iconic moments of the PG era:

With the brand split, WWE are in need of superstars and Barrett might be the perfect candidate after having experience of working in the WWE before. Smackdown Live! must be the ideal choice and he can fill the slot in the upper mid-card or even in the main event.

This can be WWE’s chance to correct their mistakes and with the right measures, Barrett can live up to the fullest of expectations.
