Wrestler disguises as WWE legend Kane and steals his finisher; ex-RAW personality calls it “the dumbest gimmick” ever

A former RAW personality recently gave his thoughts after a wrestler stole WWE legend Kane's gimmick. The name in question is Jonathan Coachman, who was not a fan of a controversial spinoff of The Big Red Machine's character.

Kane is one of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling. Although the WWE legend no longer performs inside the squared circle, many young stars are inspired by his character and try to sometimes imitate it.

One of the most recent spinoffs that went viral on social media was Blue Kane, who adopted the legendary star's gimmick with a slight alteration as he changed his attire's color to blue.

Now another name is grabbing attention on social networking sites. The star known as ''CoKane," wears a white version of Kane's attire. However, this gimmick is extremely controversial as the JCW (Juggalo Championship Wrestling) star uses a white substance during his bouts, calling it ''8 ball.''

Former WWE RAW personality Jonathan Coachman recently took to X (fka Twitter) to bash CoKane, calling the character, "the dumbest gimmick" ever. Coachman also mentioned that he thought promoting a drug to gain energy in matches was not good for the viewers and he did not find it funny.

"If he is trying to get noticed congratulations you succeeded. But this is without a doubt, and it’s not close, the dumbest gimmick I have ever seen in my career. And he’s not alone. The promoters, the announcers, and the fans on here saying, 'This is exactly what we need in wrestling.' Pro wrestling at the highest level is replicated by kids and adults. And to watch a person pull an '8 ball of co**ine' out of his tights. Pretending to take it all in and then performing a move is as idiotic as anything I have ever seen. It might be funny to many of you. I don’t find this funny at all," he wrote.

Jonathan Coachman was not a fan of WWE making a big change to SummerSlam

During an edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Coach and Bro Wrestling Show on Backstage Pass, Jonathan Coachman said that he believed WWE should not have turned SummerSlam into a two-night show as he hated this format.

"It has to be the dumbest idea outside of making another night's gate," Coachman said. "It has to be a two-night event. I hate the two-night events."

It will be interesting to see if WWE or AEW will listen to the fans' requests on social media and possibly sign controversial CoKane in the future.
