The Money in the Bank ladder match is one of WWE's biggest matches of the year. Every year, six men and six women compete to see who will climb a ladder and retrieve a briefcase, guaranteeing them a title match for any time in the future. This match has been responsible for creating several World Champions in the past and has proven to change the careers of many. This year, the women's match is stacked with participants like Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Naomi, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer.

Tonight on SmackDown, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and Stephanie Vaquer teamed up against Roxanne Perez, Naomi, and Giulia. During the match, Naomi abandoned her team, leaving Perez to get pinned in the ring. WWE has a track record where the person who has the upper hand on the go-home show usually loses at the PLE. Since the babyfaces won tonight, the company may have hinted that either Naomi, Roxanne, or Giulia will win the Money in the Bank ladder match.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
