Money in the Bank is set to take place this weekend. Ahead of the PLE, WWE may have subtly revealed the winner of the Women's MITB match on SmackDown.
The Money in the Bank ladder match is one of WWE's biggest matches of the year. Every year, six men and six women compete to see who will climb a ladder and retrieve a briefcase, guaranteeing them a title match for any time in the future. This match has been responsible for creating several World Champions in the past and has proven to change the careers of many. This year, the women's match is stacked with participants like Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Naomi, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer.
Tonight on SmackDown, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and Stephanie Vaquer teamed up against Roxanne Perez, Naomi, and Giulia. During the match, Naomi abandoned her team, leaving Perez to get pinned in the ring. WWE has a track record where the person who has the upper hand on the go-home show usually loses at the PLE. Since the babyfaces won tonight, the company may have hinted that either Naomi, Roxanne, or Giulia will win the Money in the Bank ladder match.
It will be interesting to see who will walk away with the Money in the Bank contract this year.
