A popular WWE Superstar had a heartfelt message for Indi Hartwell following her recent release. The star, Johnny Gargano, assured Hartwell that she would always be family to him.
Johnny Gargano and Indi were part of a stable, The Way, on WWE NXT. The stable also featured Austin Theory, Dexter Lumis, and Candice LeRae.
Gargano paid a special tribute to Indi Hartwell in his latest travel vlog on his official YouTube channel. The vlog ended with a wholesome message addressed to Indi.
"You'll always be family. We love you, Indi Wrestling."
What was Indi Hartwell's goal in WWE?
Indi did quite well for herself in WWE during her five-year run. Earlier this year, she appeared in an interview with West Sport and stated that her goal was to become the Women's World Champion on the main roster.
Check out her full comments below:
"My goal is, obviously, everyone's goal, to become the champion. I would love to become Women's World Champion. Right now, I'm very much focused on the tag titles. Reuniting with Candice, we want to be the tag champions up on the main roster. That's what we're looking at. Obviously, to wrestle in Perth is what I'm looking forward to as well," she told West Sport. [H/T - Fightful]
Hartwell isn't the only star who was recently let go by WWE. Tegan Nox and Baron Corbin's WWE journeys are over as well. Corbin's lengthy run of more than a decade in WWE saw him competing against some of the biggest names in the promotion, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Braun Strowman.
As for Indi, she has a long road ahead of her. At 28 years old, Indi is still quite young and her fans can't wait to see her make waves outside the WWE umbrella.
