AJ Styles and WWE authority figure Nick Aldis have been put on notice by Judgment Day member and reigning Intercontinental Champion, Dominik Mysterio.

On this week's episode of WWE RAW, AJ Styles defeated JD McDonagh in a singles match after successfully executing the Styles Clash and pinning him to secure a huge victory. Post-match, he was outnumbered by Mysterio, McDonagh, and Finn Balor but outsmarted The Judgment Day trio and escaped with the Intercontinental Title.

Backstage, Nick Aldis, who was filling in for Adam Pearce tonight, confirmed the Mysterio vs. Styles match for the Intercontinental Championship at Night of Champions. Taking to Instagram, "Dirty" Dom took shots at Styles and Aldis, asking them to hand over the title.

Mysterio won the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41, defeating Balor, Penta, and former champion Bron Breakker in a Fatal Four-Way Match to win the title.
The 28-year-old successfully defended his championship twice against Penta, one of which took place at the Backlash Premium Live Event. His most recent title defense was against Octagón Jr. at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event.
Meanwhile, AJ Styles is seeking to become a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion.
