Zelina Vega gets betrayed by 31-year-old top star on SmackDown

Women's United States Champion Zelina Vega has had a firm grip on her title for 40+ days now. On SmackDown, she was helped by a 31-year-old star for a huge win, only to be betrayed moments later.

Things have been interesting for Zelina Vega, but fans seem to be ready for her to move on from Chelsea Green and the Secret Hervice. She has defeated Green numerous times this year, defeated Alba Fyre, and this week, defeated Piper Niven. However, the size difference between her and Niven was quite obvious, as was the power that Niven had over the champion.

However, the final spot of the match saw Vega attempt a powerbomb from below the turnbuckles onto a table. The 31-year-old Giulia appeared out of nowhere and took out Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre before hitting Niven with a kendo stick from the front and back. She helped Zelina Vega win and raised her hand, only to betray her moments later.

This is, of course, because Giulia has been making her intentions for the Women's United States Championship clear. She hasn't been the friendliest figure to Vega.

However, she still had another backstage confrontation with her, where Vega told Giulia that she would have to pry the title from her hands.

It's going to be interesting to see how things play out in the US Title picture.
