#7. Hiromu Takahashi vs Dragon Lee- IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship

Rivalry reunited as some would say, as arch rivals Dragon Lee and Hiromu Takahashi went toe-to-toe with each other once again in what was another absolute classic match, this time in the US.

Dragon Lee started off the match with a lot of momentum as he took out his opponent with a vicious dive to the outside and controlled the early bits of the match. Hiromu, however, hit Lee with a running dropkick to the outside and into the barricade and followed it up with a giant senton on the floor.

The two men kept trading some wicked shots with each other and the match had some absolutely scary spots through and through. In the closing stages, Lee attempted the powerbomb, but, Hiromu countered with the Canadian Destroyer, followed up by The Time Bomb as he retained Mr. Belt in his first title defense.

Another absolute classic match between Lee and Hiromu Takahashi and definitely a highly recommended match as well.

Result: Hiromu Takahashi def. Dragon Lee to retain the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship

#8. Juice Robinson vs Jay White- IWGP US Heavyweight Championship

The two men started off this match in the typical ground and pound fashion, as they started to beat the living heck out of each other, the two men engaged in a wild brawl outside in the ring as they used the ringside barricades to their advantage.

Midway through the match, White suplexed Robinson into the barricade right in front of the commentary team of Jim Ross and Josh Barnett, as JR went down to the floor, this eventually prompted Barnett to get into the ring and confront White.

However, once things settled down, Juice started to make a comeback into the match, both men attempted to hit their finishing manoeuvres before the ‘Switchblade’ pushed the referee to cause a distraction and hit Juice with a low-blow. Juice’s tremendous show of resiliency paid off for him one way or the other as he connected with the Pulp Fiction, but wasn’t able to keep White down for the three count.

Juice once again attempted the Pulp Fiction, as White almost countered it into The Blade Runner, but the former eventually pinned ‘Switchblade’ via the roll-up pin for the win as we crowned a new IWGP US Heavyweight Champion and the first American man in NJPW history to win the IWGP US Title.

Result: Juice Robinson def. Jay White to win the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship
