Cody Rhodes continued to rip the Bullet Club apart at Strong Style Evolved

What's the story?

On Monday morning, Cody Rhodes took to Twitter with what seems to be an apology directed towards Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks, the day after Cody confronted them after their loss to the Golden Lovers at Strong Style Evolved.

In case you didn't know...

On December 10, 2016, it was announced that Cody Rhodes joined the Bullet Club. His first match as a member took place at Wrestle Kingdom 11 in 2017 where he defeated Juice Robinson.

The heart of the matter

After the Golden Lovers of Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi defeated The Young Bucks in a completely thrilling 40-minute match, Rhodes would storm the ring and get in the face of Matt Jackson. When Nick grabbed Rhodes' arm, he would shove him to the ground. This prompted Omega and Ibushi to return to the ring to chase Rhodes off.

Oddly enough, Omega and Ibushi were long gone from the ring when Cody hit, so he knew very well that only The Young Bucks were inside the squared circle.

What's next?

Supercard of Honor is just around the corner when Cody Rhodes takes on Kenny Omega in New Orleans, Louisiana. The event takes place at the UNO Lakefront Arena on Saturday, April 7th.

In addition to Cody vs Omega, Dalton Castle will take on Jay Lethal for the Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship.

Author's take

First off the Tag-Team match between The Young Bucks and The Golden Lovers will rank up there as one of the best matches of the year when it is all said and done. It was completely amazing.

Secondly, we all know that Cody Rhodes is full of it. He is just trying to butter up the Bucks to get them on his side before his Supercard of Honor against Omega.

It is truly amazing how great of a character that Rhodes has created since departing the WWE. He creates compelling television every time he's on camera.
