In case you didn't know...

Evil and Sanada were the Los Ingobernables de Japon representatives at this year's World Tag League. The duo started off their WTL campaign by defeating the team of Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale, who entered the competition as one of the Bullet Club teams.

Sanada and Evil would go and pick up wins against the likes of Yoshi Hashi and Goto, Hangman Page and Yujiro Takahashi and more.

The LIJ members ended up winning their block (Block A) as they picked up 5 wins and 2 losses, which came against the team of Juice Robinson and Sami Callihan and Minoru Suzuki and Takashi Iizuka.

The heart of the matter

Earlier today in Fukuoka; the finals of the 2017 World Tag League was played out between Los Ingobernables de Japon members, Evil and Sanada and Bullet Club members Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga -- collectively known as Guerillas of Destiny.

The two teams wrestled each other to a very hard hitting match, which went back and forth between the two teams and at one stage of the match Tama Tonga was also seen hitting the Gun Stun move, which is the previous finisher of Tonga's former Bullet Club associate Karl Anderson.

However, Evil and Sanada also had a few tricks up their sleeves, as they hit The Magic Killer (Gallows and Anderson's current tag team finisher) on Tanga Loa, who went through the table. In the end, it was Evil's STO on Tama Tonga that got the job done for the LIJ members as they won the 2017 World Tag League.

What's next?

Evil and Sanada are the current Never Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champions but, now at Wrestle Kingdom 12 they have the chance to win the IWGP Tag Team Titles from the Killer Elite Squad, as the two teams are set to lock horns at the Tokyo Dome on January 4th.

Author's take

Personally I think, Evil and Sanada (along with Bushi) might lose their Never Tag Titles come January 4th but, on the other hand, I believe they will answer back by becoming the new IWGP Tag Team Champions.
