#6 Hangman Page & Cody Rhodes vs. War Machine – IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships
War Machine were clearly the more dominant tag team in this bout t as Ray Rowe and Hanson used their size and athleticism to control the pace of the match.
Page and Rhodes eventually gained control and focused the majority of their offence on the midsection of their opponents. Rhodes and Hanson had an especially interesting spot where they both traded cartwheels and hit each other with clotheslines.
Hanson showed off his athleticism once again when he broke up a double team on Rowe by hitting a handspring elbow.
Rhodes was thrown on the English Commentary table while Rowe and Hanson hit their elevated clothesline/German suplex combo on Page for a near fall.
Hanson hit a big moonsault from the top rope, but Rhodes moved Page’s foot to the rope to break up the pinfall.
The match ended when Rowe and Hanson hit Fall-Out on Page for the victory.

#7 Zack Sabre Jr., Minoru Suzuki and Takashi Iuka vs. Kota Ibushi, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Michael Elgin
This was the second match of the night where the participants of the G1 all met in tag team action and saw the heels dominate the match early on with referee distractions, foreign objects, and more run-ins from both teammates.
The clash between Michael Elgin and Minori Suzuki was the most physical portion of the match, but eventually, both men tagged in Hiroshi Tanahashi and Zack Sabre Jr.
Tanahashi attempted to regain momentum during his confrontation with Sabre, but Sabre continued to wear down Tanahashi with submissions.
The match ended when Sabre locked an Octopus Hold on Tanahashi for the victory -- the second time Sabre has made the IWGP Intercontinental Champion tap out.

#8 SANADA, BUSHI, Hiromu Takahashi and EVIL vs. Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, Gedo and Toru Yano
This was the final tag team match of the night before the main event.
Okada’s back was targeted heavily in this match leading to him tagging in Toru Yano, who was placed in the paradise lock by Sanada.
Eventually, Yano made the tag to Ishii, who dominated the contest until he made the tag to Gedo, who temporarily got the upper hand on Hiromu Takahashi before the EVIL broke it up and Takahashi locked in the triangle choke for the victory.
The match ended, but EVIL laid out Okada with a darkness fall on the chairs which Dave Meltzer reported as the next program for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

#9 Tetsuya Naito vs. Kenny Omega – G1 Climax Tournament Finals
The main event of the G1 saw the two stables collide in a fantastic bout to determine who gets to challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 12.
The match started off slow with neither man being eager to lock up with each other. Naito got the upper hand when they finally locked up and did his usual dive-fake out followed by his signature pose. The fight moved to the outside of the ring and Omega was almost thrown into the barricade, but he stopped himself and hit a moonsault on Naito on the outside.
Naito maintained dominance with strikes and a suicide dive to the outside. Naito attempted a piledriver through the announcement table, but it seemed like the table shifted or Naito slipped causing Omega to land on his head on the concrete.
Naito’s offense focused primarily on the head of Omega, while Omega’s offense seemingly focused on the body of Naito as he countered one of Naito’s move with a reverse hurricanrana and hit a beautiful tope con Hilo, then brought Naito into the ring for a missile dropkick to the back of Naito’s head for a near fall.
Omega attempted a V-Trigger, but Naito countered with a German suplex attempt which Naito countered with a satellite DDT. Naito was climbing the top rope, but was cut off by Omega who dropped Naito face first on the turnbuckle, hit a snap dragon suplex, and finished his sequence with a V-Trigger for another near fall.
Naito attempted a top rope suplex, but Omega dropped Naito on the turnbuckle and set him up for a top rope powerbomb only for Naito to counter and hit Omega with a hurricanrana. Then Naito hoisted Omega on the top rope to hit him with a reverse hurricanrana for a near fall.
After hitting a spinning Destino for a near fall, Naito hit Omega with a Destino for the fourth time to win the match and the G1 Climax for the second time in his career.
