NJPW News: The Young Bucks to answer the challenge of The Bar?

The
The Bar has run through the entire Raw tag team division

What's the story?

With the defeat of The Revival on the latest edition of Monday Night RA, it seems that WWE RAW Tag Team champions, The Bar, has no one left to challenge them for their titles. Will the 4-time champions have to look outside of the RAW roster for worthy contenders?

In case you didn't know...

The Bar has run rampant on Monday nights, scoring pinfalls over every tag team on the roster. From the Club to the Hardyz, to The Shield, Cesaro and Sheamus have overcome any challenge that they've come across. After defeating The Revival on March 5th, it seems like there's no one left for them to face.

Rumors have been swirling about who their opponents could be. Sanity responded to their challenge this week on Twitter, but they could be busy with the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic until WrestleMania. However, one tag team claims to have WrestleMania night free.

The heart of the matter

After defeating the Revival, Sheamus laid out another challenge on Twitter, looking for competition. The Raw Tag Team Champions are looking for worthy contenders for WrestleMania 34, and it looks like the challenge may have been answered by none other than The Young Bucks.

The Bucks claim to have April 8th open and could be looking to add the Raw Tag Team Titles to their list of gold. Could we see the Bucks debut at WrestleMania?

What's next?

The Bar still has a month to find a team to face on The Grandest Stage of Them All. As we move forward to New Orleans, they'll look to take on any and all challengers that may come their way. With WrestleMania season upon us, it's also possible that some NXT teams may find their way to Raw.

The Bucks weren't the only ones to answer the challenge, as Bubba Ray Dudley threw the Dudley Boyz hat into the ring. So, we might see some classic teams take on The Bar on their Road to WrestleMania.

Author's take

I doubt that The Young Bucks will appear at WrestleMania, and it's more than likely that we'll get a thrown together tag team or a team leaving NXT to take on the tag champs. If the WWE and NJPW were to work out some kind of deal, bringing The Young Bucks in for WrestleMania would be a great way to kick that off. Only time will tell.
