#2 Adam Cole outsmarts his opponents to win back the NXT Championship at TakeOver: In Your House

Adam Cole has arguably been the best heel in WWE NXT for some time now. Cole excelled as the leader of the Undisputed ERA and went on to leave his mark as the NXT Champion last year.

The Panama City Playboy has outsmarted his opponents more often than not, and his Undisputed ERA buddies have helped him win several big matches. He will be on his own during this contest but could look to prove his critics wrong once again.

Cole lost his last two big matches in NXT. However, he has a bulletproof reputation and has managed to become one of the biggest names on the brand.

Cole is one of the favorites to win on Sunday. He has already managed to take out Karrion Kross before TakeOver, and he could look to do just that once again at the event.

The Panama City Playboy could also bring some weapons into the match to lay out his opponents. He could then take advantage of the situation and pin Pete Dunne or Kyle O’Reilly to become a two-time NXT Champion.

Kross could well be on his way to the main roster soon. Therefore, giving Cole the title could help NXT keep the value of the championship up and allow newcomers a chance to challenge the experienced superstar for it.
