NXT News:  Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, & Bobby Fish continue their own NXT takeover this week

To say Adam
To say Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and Bobby Fish have made an impact this month in NXT is an understatement...

What's the story?

The three newest members of NXT made their presence felt at the beginning and end of the first episode of NXT since Takeover: Brooklyn III, not counting last weeks episode. Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and Bobby Fish would attack SAnitY to start the show, then focus their attack on NXT Champion Drew McIntyre at the end of the show.

In case you didn't know...

NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III ended with the official debut of Adam Cole as he, with Fish and O'Reilly, attacked McIntyre after he successfully won the NXT Championship from Bobby Roode. All three men come from successful careers in Ring Of Honor; where they have earned a combined total of 12 championships among them.

The heart of the matter...

NXT opened up with members of SAnitY and several members of security laid out all our the SUV that Eric Young, Killian Dain, and Alexander Wolfe came to Full Sail in. General Manager William Regal would come out to the parking lot to assess the damage with a very disgusted look on his face.

After an amazing main event where Roderick Strong defeated Bobby Roode (in what is probably Roode's last match in NXT), McIntyre would come out to the stage to give Strong respect as potentially his next contender for the NXT Championship. Shortly after Drew appeared, the three men who attacked SAnitY would gang up on McIntyre before Regal would chase them off.

What's next?

Expect reactions and responses from both Drew McIntyre and General Manager William Regal on an upcoming edition of NXT on the WWE Network. While Roderick Strong has wrestled his way to a shot at the championship, Adam Cole may have stepped into the picture after two cheap shot attacks on the champion.

Author's take...

I am absolutely loving the nWo style that Cole, O'Reilly, and Fish are bringing to NXT right now. While I didn't even think to do so, it is absoutely brilliant pairing the three of them up. It's a spark to further fuel the roll this brand is on right now.
