Kassius Ohno has a history with Ciampa and Gargano

Tommaso Ciampa is the best heel in wrestling right now, and his continued arrogance only adds to that.

At Takeover: Chicago, Ciampa beat Gargano with his hands tied behind his back, and since then he has gone on to win the NXT title from Aleister Black, despite an attempted interference from Johnny Gargano.

Kassius Ohno and Johnny Gargano are good friends on-screen, so having Ciampa overcome both of those men to retain his NXT title belt would put another feather in his cap, and give him one more thing to brag about in the coming months.

Setting this one up would be fairly straightforward. Suspecting that Ciampa was the one to attack Black, William Regal could announce that Johnny Gargano gets to choose the third man in the match, and naturally, Gargano would choose the one man in NXT who had his back in recent months.
