NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV - What should the Card look like.

#1. Adam Cole(c) vs Ricochet - NXT North American Championship match

This will be Cole's first PPV title defense

Adam Cole and Ricochet are two of the most popular superstars in NXT and in the wrestling world as a whole. It is only fitting that these two have been given the chance to shine at a larger stage. The two have a similar style and background behind them and should have nice chemistry as well. Both of them are also masters in controlling the crowd. They can make an audience pop loudly at their will and will likely do so several times in the match.

Their match will be exciting, spot filled and high flying making it the perfect opener for the TakeOver event. This will pipe up the Brooklyn crowd and warm the fans up for the rest of the show. The match will be perfect in setting the pace for the rest of the event to go through. The only problem should be for the other matches to follow it. But given the talent on the card, I don't think that will be a problem.

Personally, I want an Adam Cole victory. We haven't seen him defend his North American Title once on PPV and he should retain in his first. If WWE wants to make the NA Title relevant, a lengthy title reign is the right way to go.

Another factor that can play into the match is that Adam Cole might just be called up to the main roster post Summerslam considering how over he is. If not then, Cole will be called up after Wrestlemania 35 for sure. Whether they will separate him from the Undisputed Era is yet to be seen. If Cole does get called up post-Summerslam, he will likely drop the title to Ricochet.
