#2. Triple H may be the only star to appear from 1999

As already noted, the last In Your House event before NXT's this weekend was back on Valentine's Day in 1999 and was aptly named the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. This show was more than two decades ago which is why many stars who were on the card aren't around anymore.

There are a handful of stars from the card back in 1999 that are still working for WWE including Mark Henry, Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Hardy, Kane, and Triple H.

Of all the stars on the list, the only face who is likely to make an appearance this weekend is Triple H, since he is currently the man behind NXT. Since this is the first NXT Takeover event since the COVID-19 pandemic forced WWE to cancel shows and run without an audience, the show could kick off with a speech from Triple H much like the first WWE show without an audience back in March.
