One thing to keep in mind while watching this match is that both men who’ll take to the ring are villainous heels. It’s not often that WWE books two babyfaces or heels to face each other, but this NXT match will see two of the finest heels at work together.
Finn Balor has taken down Johnny Gargano, Matt Riddle, and several others since turning heel and has even aimed for the NXT Championship and the NXT United Kingdom Championship.
Damian Priest, on the other hand, has focused on using his heelish tactics to get into some rivalries, and his rivalry against Keith Lee for the NXT North American Championship ended up being his most prominent work.
A disqualification could stretch this rivalry
Both men will be looking to get one over as they push ahead for another major opportunity on the Black & Gold brand. With that in mind, we could see either or both men try to resort to some illegal means and catch the eye of the referee.
