Shayna Baszler stepped up to perhaps her toughest challenger in Phoenix as the undefeated Bianca Belair put her streak on the line in an effort to lift the NXT Women's Championship for the first time.

Shayna Baszler shockingly entered the arena without Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke for this match against Bianca Belair, which interestingly could give Belair the advantage.

The match started with a back and forth between the two women as they locked up and tried to show off their strength. The two women then exchanged pushes, before Belair showed off her athleticism by gaining the upper hand following a number of flips including a backflip off the second rope.

Baszler then wrapped Belair's hair around the post and pulled her into it to get back on top. Belair then delivered her stomp on the inner arm as the referee looked to see if The EST of NXT could continue in the matchup.

The Queen of Spades targetted the injured arm and got a near fall from it, but Belair continued to fight to remain in the match. Bazsler then delivered a number of punches followed by a kick to the face for another two count.

The Champion stopped to tell Belair that she was overrated and received a slap for her choice of words before Belair fought through the pain to get a near fall of her own off a spear.

Belair whipped Baszler with her patented hair whip to end what was the Champion's attempt to pick her apart with kicks and punches. Despite the injured shoulder, Belair went for a double chicken wing slam and the referee inadvertently took the second buckle.

Belair had the match won off the KOD, but the referee wasn't in position and Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke then made their way to the ring to help their fallen friend. The distraction allowed Baszler to lock in the Kirifuda Clutch but Belair was able to fight out into a standing suplex.

Duke got involved on the apron once again but the distraction once again allowed Baszler to lock in the Kirifuda Clutch but once again Belair looked to rise from it but was unable to fight the hold for a second time.

Belair began to fade and the referee called for the bell and signaled the end of Belair's undefeated streak.
