The Demon retained his belt in a ladder match

The newly crowned WWE NXT Women’s Champion, Bayley couldn’t hold back tears as she said she’s as always dreamed about being champion but can't describe the feeling. She says the post-match segment with the other NXT Divas was the most important thing to her. Watch the backstage interview with her in the below video:

WWE NXT Champion Finn “The Demon” Balor said that he was the rightful champion and that he proved his victory over Kevin Owens in Tokyo was not a fluke by defending his belt. Balor went on to say that Brooklyn saw a new side of Finn Balor and a new side of NXT and that tonight was only the beginning for NXT as they're going onto bigger and better things.

Stardust acknowledged the joint charitable efforts of WWE and his SummerSlam opponent, Stephen Amell, in raising more than $150,000 for the charity, Emily’s House. The money was raised through t-shirt sales. Stardust tweeted:
