Shayna Baszler has been running roughshod over the NXT Women's division for quite some time now, and despite some credible challenges from the likes of Bianca Belair, nothing has been enough to dethrone her. With Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir by her side, it seems that no one has enough to take her down, but that's because she's not yet faced The Genius of the Skies, Io Shirai.
Shirai is one of the most decorated Japanese stars in history, and has been a star from the moment she stepped foot in NXT. June 1st should be the crowning moment for her. It's not going to be easy, and NXT could swerve us here and keep the title on The Queen of Spades, but it's time for her to head to the main roster, so if she is to lose the title, it needs to happen here.
