Before the in-ring action continued on NXT UK, a video package was shown, reflecting on last week's match between Ilja Dragunov and Sam Gradwell, which ended in chaos as Dragunov attacked Gradwell and the ring officials. At the end of the clip, it was announced that Ilja Dragunov will be speaking out about this incident on next week's show.

Another promo package was shown, highlighting Trent Seven's training routine and exploring his partnership with Tyler Bate ahead of his weigh-in for the NXT UK Cruiserweight Championship match on next week's episode of The Bump.

It was also announced that current NXT UK Champion WALTER will be appearing next week to make a statement.

The action the returned to the ring, as Jinny and Joseph Conners entered followed by the team of Piper Niven and Jack Starz. The four Superstars were set to take part in the first-ever mixed tag team match on NXT UK.

The two women began the match, with Jinny taunting Piper Niven before tagging in Conners, leaving Starz to replace Niven. The two men battled back and forth, with Starz flooring Conners with an arm drag, and continued to target his rival's arm.

Starz then tagged in Piper Niven, and Conners swapped with Jinny. Not much action gets underway for the women before Joseph Conners tagged himself back in, and the men took over again.
