#2 Sanity (SmackDown Tag Team Championship)

Eric Young is the leader of Sanity, who debuted on NXT television in 2016. Throughout their tenure Sanity would capture NXT Tag Team championships and Tag Team of the year in 2017. Moreover, group member Killian Dane was involved in a Five Star rated match. That match was the inaugural NXT North American Championship ladder match.

Sanity's members each possess unique characteristics and skill traits. Their leader Young has an extensive tenure with former promotion Impact Wrestling (TNA). Whereas, Alexander Wolfe has plied his trade on the independent circuit since 2004. Notably for Westside Xtreme Wrestling, who shares a partnership with WWE. Ultimately Sanity has an exponential chance at success.

On SmackDown Sanity's performance has been limited to occasional tag team wrestling. Considering their involvement in last year's WarGames match (watch the video below), their lackluster usage seems strange.

However, it could be lucrative for future storylines. Presently the tag team division on SmackDown is steadily dwindling. Therefore, affording Sanity an opportunity at the championship could open a plethora of possibilities.
