Tonight's NXT TakeOver: WarGames emanates from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. A No.1 contender's triple threat match for the NXT Championship took place between Pete Dunne, Killian Dain, and Damian Priest.

The Bruiserweight won the match by pinning Damian Priest and now he will challenge the leader of The Undisputed Era Adam Cole for his NXT Championship tomorrow at Survivor Series.

The feud between all three Superstars

Tensions rose between Pete Dunne and Killian Dain after Dunne snapped The Beast of Belfast's fingers a few weeks ago on an episode of WWE NXT who was taunting him while he was on his way to have a match with Damian Priest.

Ever since that incident, Dain would start interfering in Dunne's matches and even attacked Dunne's friend Tyler Bate after a match and told him to deliver a message to Dunne. During a match between Dunne and Priest, Dain came out to attack both men but it was The Archer of Infamy who came out tall from that brawl.

As a result, NXT General Manager William Regal considered to pit all three Superstars against each other with a lucrative reward in the form of an opportunity at championship gold. Dunne won the match by pinning Priest and the former NXT UK Champion will now have a chance at winning the NXT Championship tomorrow at Survivor Series.
