Stephanie McMahon surprised everyone on this week's episode of Raw by announcing that she will be bringing back the Cruiserweight division on the Red brand of WWE. The announcement was accepted gladly by WWE fans, as the majority of the WWE Universe felt the need of a separate division for the relatively smaller stars in order to provide them enough exposure.
However despite the fact that it was rumored ever since the announcement of brand Split, it has not been disclosed how or when the cruiserweight division will actually come into the play or which stars will be a part of it.
Although now, we have some information on which stars are being considered by the officials to join the reinstated division. According to the alllwrestlingnews.com Cedric Alexander, Kota Ibushi, Mascara Dorada, and Akira Tozawa are some of the names which are expected to be the part of the division which will be exclusive to Raw.
But that's not all, as Tajiri is also being considered by the officials to get a spot on the show. Along with him, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano are also expected to join the division once they complete their indie commitments, although both of them could head to NXT first before getting the chance to shine on the main roster.
