Io Shiai will hope to move on to the quarterfinals (and presumably face off with Deonna Purrazzo).

Zeuxis defeated Aerial Monroe via pinfall with a beautiful Avalanche Spanish Fly to move on to the second round. Io Shirai defeated Xia Brookside via pinfall with a Diving Moonsault.

While Zeuxis is unique as a women's luchador in WWE, she is not a signed competitor so it is unlikely that she will defeat Io Shirai. Io Shirai is a favorite to win this tournament so she will almost definitely move on to the quarterfinals.
