What's the story?

ROH's 'State of The Art' event in Portland saw a fan being taken backstage by security, where WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray allegedly intimidated him.

Ray recently posted a tweet to give his side of the story and stated that the story has been embellished by the fan to make himself look like a victim.

Ring Of Honor's recent event 'State of The Art' saw a fan exchanging insults with two female wrestlers, Velvet Sky and Mandy Leon. The fan posted several tweets after the show, explaining what had happened. According to him, he was taken backstage by security, where Bully Ray confronted and intimidated him. This is what Bully Ray allegedly told the fan:

So here’s the deal. You’re done talking down to them. You need to treat them with respect. Don’t be saying anything you wouldn’t say to your mom, you got it?!

Ray finished off by telling him to "go be a fan", after which he was brought back to his seat.

The heart of the matter

Ray has now posted a tweet revealing his side of the story. He states that the conversation between him and the fan lasted around 30 seconds, at the end of which Ray gave a friendly pat on the fan's back.

Bully Ray also said that the behavior displayed by the fan towards the female wrestlers is something that can't be tolerated in today's age. Here's the full statement made by Ray:
