AJ Styles and Samoa Joe look set to fight over the WWE Championship at SummerSlam

The minute Samoa Joe was moved over to SmackDown Live the WWE Universe were well aware that he was coming for that WWE Championship. It's becoming more and more obvious that WWE is losing faith in AJ Styles since he has failed to main event a pay-per-view since before WrestleMania and continues to slip down the card.

Samoa Joe is someone who looks like a champion, he was scouted by Triple H, he was a then a champion in NXT and has since shown his dominance on the main roster and at one point even took the fight to Brock Lesnar.

These two former TNA stars haven't yet crossed paths in WWE, but it is expected that SmackDown General Manager Paige will announce Samoa Joe as Styles opponent this coming week on SmackDown and the build-up to this clash will finally get underway.
