#1 Adam Cole def. Johnny Gargano - NXT Championship
It was always going to be hard for Johnny Wrestling and Adam Cole to top their 5.5 star classic in New York, and while this one certainly wasn't as good as the first, it was still an incredible bout. It started off hot and ended the exact same way, and as you always see with NXT main events, there were plenty of false finishes and exciting moments before Cole finally reached the mountain top.
While most people expected The Panama City Playboy to come out on top here, the moment was still perfectly done, and while O'Reilly and Fish failed to win their own gold earlier in the night, they posed to end the night. The group still has plenty of legs left in NXT, as we hoped they don't get called up anytime soon, and if Cole does go on to have a great run at the top, this was a great way to start it off.
