#1 The Miz

The Miz is more equipped to be WWE Champion now than when he actually won it

If I would have told you, on the day he lost the WWE Championship, that The Miz would become champion once again, you would have shut me down. It is remarkable how much The Miz has improved since then.

It took a few movies, a failed face run and the Intercontinental Championship to really make him stand out as one of the better performers in the WWE. His promos are as organic as they can be, while he is getting better and better in the ring all the time. All of us would love to see The Miz become world champion again, he certainly deserves it.

His run since mid-2016 has been consistently excellent and has been the best part of the show he was on almost all the time. It started coming together during that fiery Talking Smack promo with Daniel Bryan.

Since then, he has been on fire. After two years of making the Intercontinental title feel like a major belt, it is time for The Miz to move on to bigger and better things. A victory in the Money in the Bank ladder match would give him the opportunity to right the biggest wrong of his career and have a respectable reign as WWE Champion.

He is the favorite to land the green briefcase and is the best choice as well. Even though he is the only one in the match to have previously won MITB before, he should do it again. The ensuing title run will be AWESOME!

The Miz's cash-in: This one is the most obvious and logical idea for a Money in the Bank cash-in and it writes itself. Daniel Bryan finally returns to the top of the WWE mountain as he beats Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam.

But it all comes crashing down as The Miz runs to the ring and quickly beats Bryan for the belt, thus beginning the hottest feud in the WWE. Daniel Bryan vs The Miz has been the hottest WWE main roster feud in the last two years and they haven't even gotten physical once.

Now that Bryan has been cleared to compete, imagine how much better this feud will be. The rest of the year sure is going to be exciting as hell!
