Braun doesn't need the briefcase

Braun Strowman is a Universal Champion in waiting. He is one of the biggest stars on the WWE roster right now, and he has been the focal point for the build of this match.

That being said, Braun is over enough without the briefcase, and while fans would no doubt rejoice if he were to win the match, it would be seen as a waste in the long run.

Braun can get himself a title match at any time, and he is one of the few legitimate threats to Brock Lesnar's title in the WWE. The briefcase should be used to give someone that final push to the main event, whereas Braun is already there.
