#3. AJ Styles vies for the United States Championship

Right around WWE Stomping Grounds while the show was going on, Ricochet was busy with his United States Championship photoshoot. He was first interrupted by Gallows & Anderson and then AJ Styles, who made it clear that he plans to challenge for the title.

On RAW, Styles defeated Ricochet clean in a non-title match. Despite Gallows & Anderson appearing ringside, The Phenomenal One was quick to send them backstage. He defeated Ricochet and there was a show of respect as expected from the two elite competitors.

Now, it's fairly clear that AJ Styles is the #1 contender for the United States Championship and we're very likely to get an announcement tonight of a title match between the two at WWE Extreme Rules 2019.

What we believe, however, is that we're going to see AJ Styles tease a turn to the dark side.
