4 reasons why Alexa Bliss should win the Royal Rumble and 1 reason why she shouldn't

#1. A Royal Rumble win could reward Bliss for being the best female character in WWE

Every Royal Rumble match is filled with a plethora of gimmicks. When it comes to the women of WWE, however, Bliss is hands down the best female character performer. Some, like Bayley, can be highly entertaining, either as a face or a heel.

For the most part, the gimmicks are more about attitudes and feelings rather than character work. But Bliss is an exception, as she has shined with several remarkable roles. She has played the spoiled mean girl, the bubbly friend, and the female version of The Fiend.

Bliss had an unceremoniously short amount of time (1:02) in last year's match. Several stars teamed up to eliminate her after she had meltdown in the ring. For a woman who is a former multi-time champion in WWE, this short run in the match was quite disappointing. Alicia Fox, Dana Brooke, Torrie Wilson, and Lana all lasted longer.

For someone as valued as Bliss, her quick exit was a bit strange. Her character could have had more interesting interactions with a longer run in the match. This misstep could be remedied this year with more of a showcase for Bliss in the Royal Rumble bout ahead of her eventual victory.
