Reigns on the recieving end of some backstage heat, Vince unhappy, Blue Pants status update

Still no improvement in the promo department

- WWE might have got it wrong by giving Roman Reigns an extended amount of time on the mic this week on RAW. Roman was treated to ‘boring’ chants which were justified as he looked out of place.

The lengthy promo was not received well by the WWE Universe as well as the officials backstage. Roman drew a lot of negative heat backstage after his attempt at cutting a long promo tanked real bad, which has prompted the folks backstage to cut his promo time next time onwards. The collective opinion behind the scenes is to not give Roman so much time on the mic and portray him more as a silent conqueror that makes his actions do the talking.

Reigns even cut another lengthy promo on the subsequent SmackDown episode this week and drew the same negative reactions from the fans. This time around it wasn’t the ‘boring’ chants but the infamous ‘what?’ chants that filled the arena during his promo. Although Reigns has improved leaps and bounds in the ring, his promo skills are still quite far behind,

- Last week was a momentous occasion for Lana and Rusev who got engaged and the real life development was merged into the kayfabe storyline on RAW. The fact that the news was first reported by TMZ did not go down too well with the boss Vince McMahon, who wanted it to be a secret until RAW.

Due to the reports breaking out early last week, WWE were forced to alter their plans and Vince was not amused a bit by the events. Whatever the case may be, the Rusev – Summer Rae angle is all but history and Lana is all set to be back beside ‘The Bulgarian Brute’.

- It has been reported for weeks now about the apparent heat that NXT Diva Blue Pants was garnering upon herself. From the latest reports from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Blue Pants’ NXT stint might be over.

The reason being put out is her stupendous pace at getting over with the NXT Universe “ruffled some feathers backstage and it did not fit well with a number of other NXT stars and officials backstage. She wasn’t on a full-time contract, which added to the reasons of the hate coming her way.

The WWE top brass used Blue pants at Takeover Brooklyn as they knew for a fact that it would result in a big pop. It certainly did when she was revealed as the mystery partners for ‘The Vaudevillians”

The match did not end well for her as Alexa Bliss pinned her to pick up the win. This was the final time she would step in an NXT ring according to backstage reports.
