The weekend was big for WWE Superstars as Backlash and SmackDown took place in front of a white-hot crowd in Puerto Rico. Lana, released by the company in 2021, was spotted with Liv Morgan and others over the weekend.

While Miro, Lana's real-life husband, has competed in AEW since leaving the company, the superstar herself has focused on ventures outside wrestling.

Over the weekend, she posted a picture with Liv Morgan, sharing a moment with the superstar, saying she loved her.

She also posted a video of Zelina Vega in the ring ahead of her match against Rhea Ripley at Backlash. There, she mentioned how proud she was of her.

"Wow !!!!!!!! @ZelinaVegaWWE. so proud of you!!!!!You are inspiring ! #PuertoRico," she wrote.

She also posted a video of herself in Puerto Rico sharing the day with multiple superstars, including Damian Priest, Liv Morgan, and Kayla Braxton, attending the shows and much more. Clearly, she had a good time over there.

This was not the first time she was spotted with WWE stars after her release, but she has not attended many shows since leaving the company.

Fans commented on it, with one mentioning that they need her back in the ring.

Could Lana return to WWE after being spotted with superstars over Backlash weekend?

While Lana has given no hint of it, her presence at the event could be good news for anyone hoping that the star returns to the company.

The star was popular during her time as part of the company and had gotten extremely over in her last year there. With the women's division coming under criticism recently, Triple H might decide to bring her back.

This weekend might have easily been the beginning of negotiations for a future return for the star. The coming weeks will indicate if she is returning or not.
