Rey Mysterio to wrestle former TNA star in New York

Former WWE star Rey Mysterio is heading to New York this fall. House of Glory has booked Mysterio for their August 21 show in Jamaica, N.Y. Mysterio is scheduled to face former TNA star Amazing Red in the top match.

It was rumoured that Tyson Kidd had suffered some sort of an injury in his dark match on Monday Night Raw against Samoa Joe. We reported earlier that there were strong speculations about his injury being worse than initially it was thought to be, probably a spinal one.

Now there seems to be a confirmation coming from PWInsider that indeed Kidd’s injury is legitimate. Though there has been no official diagnosis yet, but word around is that Kidd will be out of action for at least several months.

WWE (NYSE:WWE) and Sky Italia have extended their partnership for five more years to exclusively broadcast WWE’s flagship programming, WWE Raw, SmackDown, NXT, WWE Experience and WWE Main Event on Sky Sports through 2020.

In addition to that, the deal will also see Cielo, Sky Italia’s free-to-air channel which is available in more than 24 million homes, will air one-hour versions of WWE Raw and SmackDown weekly on Sundays. CEST, respectively, and all 12 WWE live, pay-per-view specials, including WrestleMania and SummerSlam, will continue to be available on Sky Prima Fila. WWE issued the following:
