At SummerSlam 2024, Rhea Ripley was left heartbroken after Dominik Mysterio turned his back on her and helped Liv Morgan retain the Women's World Championship. While Dominik initially supported Mami, things took a turn towards the end of the match, and Dom Dom ultimately helped Morgan win.

While Ripley did not confront Dominik, she was visibly upset, especially after Dominik kissed Liv Morgan. It remains to be seen how Ripley reacts to this betrayal, but WWE could use it to book a fun mixed tag team match at Bash in Berlin. This betrayal could lead to Ripley teaming up with Jey Uso.

For those unaware, after Rhea Ripley returned to WWE on July 8th, WWE did tease a potential angle between Ripley and Jey. As a matter of fact, when Ripley was asked if she had Jey's number, the former Women's World Champion responded saying, 'Yeet.'

Hence, at Bash in Berlin, WWE could treat fans to a fun mixed tag team match between Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan vs. Jey Uso and Rhea Ripley. After this match, Ripley could potentially challenge Morgan at Bad Blood for the Women's World Championship.

Former WWE star did not enjoy the finish in the match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley

As mentioned above, towards the end of the match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio involved himself and helped Morgan win. While this finish was enjoyed by plenty of fans across the world, a former WWE star felt it was predictable.

During an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Afa Anoa'i said he was enjoying the match but didn't necessarily enjoy the finish. Anoa'i said that he felt the finish could have been executed better.

"So match number one, I really enjoyed. It was a really hard worked match. What didn't hit for me was the finish. I thought that the match outweighed the finish. And a lot of times, I'd like to see the finish outweigh the match. It was just to me, very, very predictable. Just the way Dom slid the chair in, jumped up, and grabbed the ref was very lazy. It was just lazy. You know, match number one is the tone-setter of the show. Really good match and I just feel the finish could've been executed better," said Anoa'i. [From 7:33 onwards]
