WWE NXT Superstar Rhea Ripley recently took to Twitter asking for a second match with NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler. Through the use of emojis, The Nightmare of NXT also implied that she is better than the Queen of Spades.
The inaugural NXT UK Women's Champion faced the Submission Magician in a non-title match on the September 11 episode of NXT. Although she lost the match via disqualification when she slammed a chair across Baszler's back, she was the more dominant woman in the ring.
Rhea Ripley and Shayna Baszler's confrontation
In this week's episode of the Black and Gold Brand, Shayna Baszler and her two MMA Horsewomen, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir attacked Xia Li after she emerged victorious in a match against Vanessa Borne. The two-time NXT Women's Champion reminded the NXT Universe that she defeated RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley at the same time at Survivor Series.
However, Rhea Ripley was quick to interrupt Baszler and she reminded her of the loss that she suffered at the hands of Ripley in their WarGames match at the namesake PPV this past Saturday despite having a 4-on-2 advantage. She promised that she would once again top Baszler and this time it would be for her NXT Women's Championship.
