What's the story?
Ring of Honor (ROH) has confirmed that the Louisiana Boxing and Wrestling Commission will grant Cody Rhodes a police escort for his entrance during the Supercard of Honor show on April 07, 2018.
In case you didn't know...
Supercard of Honor 12 will be headlined by a grudge match between Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega.
The addition of Rhodes to The Bullet Club led to a power struggle which came to a head at NJPW New Beginning after The American Nightmare performed the Cross Rhodes on Omega, placing Marty Scurll, The Youngbucks and Hangman Paige in the middle of this dispute.
Supercard of Honor 12 will also feature an ROH World Title match between champion Dalton Castle and Marty Scurll.
The heart of the matter
In a statement on his Twitter account, Rhodes stated that the Louisiana Boxing and Wrestling Commission was providing him with additional security because of threats called into ROH Headquarters and a situation on Reddit.
Rhodes is arguably the best heel in professional wrestling today and has a very good mind for the business which means that this could be an attempt to add drama to his match against Omega.

Supercard of Honor 12 will take place on April 07, 2018, and is expected to be ROH's biggest show till date.

The Cody Rhodes-Kenny Omega rivalry is the best in professional wrestling today and is set to culminate in one of the biggest non-WWE matches since the fall of WCW.
Even though Omega is more beloved by the internet wrestling community, I personally feel that Rhodes has more potential and could even main event WrestleMania as a heel.
