In case you didn’t know…
Simon Grimm is a former WWE Superstar who was first signed by WWE in 2013 as part of the NXT roster and formed The Vaudevillians tag team with Aiden English. The duo was highly successful in NXT where they won the NXT Tag Team Championships in 2015, and held it for a total of 61 days, before eventually losing it to The Revival.
Grimm and English were called up to the main-roster but had an unsuccessful run in the main roster where they had to job to various Superstars for almost every week.

The Vaudevillians eventually broke up in early 2017, when Gotch was released from his WWE contract.
The heart of the matter
Following his WWE release, Simon Grimm worked in the independent scene for promotions such as XWA and Chikara.
However, earlier in the year, Grimm was spotted in a Ring of Honor arena during ROH’s War of the Worlds tour, which gave rise to speculation that the former Vaudevillian may have signed with the American promotion.

It has now been confirmed that Grimm will make his ROH debut when Ring of Honor arrives in Florida later this weekend.
The rumours suggest that Grimm will portray a no-nonsense character which is completely opposite to his previous gimmick in the WWE.
What’s next?
It will be interesting to see what Grimm’s role will be in ROH, and he may well be a singles Superstar.
Author’s Take
I think Simon Grimm is very talented and WWE could have benefited with him and Aiden English on the main roster.
