What’s the story?

Roman Reigns has taken to social media so as to address his upcoming title shot at the WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble PPV.

Reigns noted his hectic travel schedule, whilst also asserting that he’s primed to win the WWE Universal Championship.

In case you didn’t know…

Reigns faced Brock Lesnar with the latter’s WWE Universal title on the line at WrestleMania 34.

In a gruelling matchup which saw Reigns busted open, The Big Dog came up short in his bid to dethrone Lesnar.

The heart of the matter

One ought to note that Reigns and Lesnar continued their rivalry after their aforementioned bloody, brutal match at WrestleMania 34—with the WWE recently confirming that Reigns and Lesnar will compete in yet another match for the title later this month.

Reigns has taken to his official Twitter account so as to send a message to the WWE Universe ahead of his upcoming Universal title matchup which takes place this Friday.

Fans can read a few excerpts of Reigns’ post regarding the upcoming match, below—

“Been wheels up for two weeks. South Africa, St. Louis, now Saudi Arabia for #WWEGRR. Luggage is gonna be a little heavier on the way back...with the Universal title. #HeavyGearBag #MyYard”

What’s next?

WWE Universal Champion Lesnar is set to defend his title against Reigns in a Steel Cage Match this Friday.

The aforementioned matchup takes place at the WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble PPV, which airs from the King Abdullah Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on April 27th.

Author’s take

Honestly speaking, Reigns is perhaps one of the most underrated performers in the professional wrestling industry today.

Reigns is a true fighter, and despite coming up short against BLesnar at WrestleMania 34, he seems to be highly motivated to win the Universal title at WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
