Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 31

Roman Reigns participated in a Q & A session at Wizard World Comic Con in San Jose, CA. During the course of the session, he spoke on his dream match, headlining Wrestlemania 31 with Brock Lesnar and more.

His Dream Match

Reigns, if he had to chose one opponent, wants to match The Rock in a big match, preferably in a match for the WWE World Heavyweight title. “There would have to be a title, something that we are trying to win. That way you have true competition, not just between each other, but for something. And I think the WWE Championship would be the best thing to put that on the line for." says Roman.

When asked about the possible stipulation, Reigns confessed to not being a fan of Ladder matches. "I don't like those. I'm all for toys and hitting and getting hit with stuff, but I just do not like ladders for whatever reason. I'd rather just beat the guy on the mat than climb a ladder”.

Future opponents

"I've been in a couple of tag matches against Triple H. I would love to have a singles match with him.” said Reigns, who is a fan of ‘The Game’ and has been his project as per people in the know. He also said he is interested in a match against Kevin Owens in the future.

Wrestlemania 31 main-event and the way it ended

Reigns said one of his favourite match was the one against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania this year. It was also the hardest match he had ever worked, but had been at the end of worse beatings by his dad than the one Brock gave him.

While he ended up losing the match, Reigns maintains it to be a positive experience for the most part and feels blessed to have been in a position to have main-evented an event of the magnitude that it was."It's something I will cherish for the rest of my life. If I never get another opportunity [to main event WrestleMania], deep down in my heart, I know that I did my thing, I represented, and I just hope that everybody sees that". says Reigns.

Asked for another favourite match of his, Reigns replied that it was the Last Man Standing match at Extreme Rules 2015 against The Big Show.

"[Big Show] is just a humungous person, so it's really cool when you meet someone so unique and you get to wrestle him and learn from him and work with him. I really enjoyed being able to wrestle the Big Show." concluded Reigns.
