In case you didn't know...

Reigns and Mahal have had a number of confrontations over the past few weeks, which even included Reigns throwing Mahal into a wall last week as part of Monday Night Raw in London.

It has been recently reported that Vince McMahon is hot on Mahal right now and the former United States Champion could be set to be pushed all the way to the top of the flagship show in the near future and Reigns could be a stepping stone to this.

The heart of the matter

Mahal interfered in Reigns match with Kevin Owens this week on Raw, which lead to a tag match between Seth Rollins, Reigns, Owens, and Mahal.

Even though it was Rollins who picked up the win for his team when he pinned Owens, The Modern Day Maharaja went on to attack Rollins and Reigns with a chair before it was announced that Reigns would able to get some revenge on Mahal in a few weeks time at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view

What's next?

It appears that Brock Lesnar won't be appearing at this year's Money in the Bank event so instead, Reigns will take on Mahal as he looks to extract some revenge for this week's cruel chair shots.

Author's take

Reigns failed to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match and since it was Mahal's fault so this is the showdown that was always going to happen.

It is unknown where their feud will go after a winner is crowned, but this looks as though it could be a rivalry that could last for a few more months.
