It is extremely difficult to think of a situation where Alexa Bliss would get the best of Ronda Rousey in a physical confrontation. She does not have the athletic pedigree of the former UFC Champion and Olympic silver medalist. Neither does she have the size advantage, being only a fraction of the size of the much larger Rousey.

So why not have her get herself intentionally disqualified by attacking Rousey with weapons? Being the champion, she is not going to lose her championship due to disqualification and on top of that, she gets to put a beating on Rousey as well.

WWE will be smart to use this opportunity to write Rousey off TV for some time. Rousey could use this time off to improve in the ring and challenge for the title again when she comes back with a legitimate rivalry with Bliss.

Alexa Bliss, on the other hand, will gain a huge amount of legitimacy by being the woman that took out Ronda Rousey. The kendo stick might even become her version of Triple H's sledgehammer. Whatever way you look at it, this is a win-win situation for all parties involved.
