Strowman has not proven himself in the main event

Strowman's in-ring career and popularity took a major boost when he feuded with Roman Reigns in early 2017, and ever since then, fans have been making claims that he was destined to be the company's next big star.

However, since then, Strowman has done very little to prove that this is the case. He is not proven as a draw and has failed to deliver anything particularly memorable from an in-ring standpoint.

While he has an undeniably likeable presence outside of the ring, he is yet to do anything that really screams main-event star.

Maybe having him win the title at a smaller event later in the year will give the WWE a chance to test him out, but given the fact that is WrestleMania season and the company are trying to bring in viewers, this makes no sense right now.
